It is also the tenth episode of the season overall. It premiered early on June 9, 2023 on Disney+, and premiered two weeks later on Disney Channel on June 24, 2023. Plot Hailey is happy that her next item is to adopt and raise a pet and heads to the animal shelter with Scott in the hopes of getting a dog. In the past, Hailey's mother, Patricia, has refused to allow them any pets, mainly due to a childhood incident. Hailey hopes to prove her mother wrong by getting one. However, the only pet that is available is an old, mangy flamingo named Frank. Despite this, Hailey decides to adopt Frank anyway, even though he needs to take special pills and is constantly barfing up pink feather blobs. Hailey is also warned about letting him near shrimp as he goes crazy for it, made difficult as it sees Beta as one. Patricia, a realtor, has a sell a house and, at a bequest of her current clients, must dress in "swag" to appease them. Hailey decides to keep her unaware so that she can focus on her job. While difficult at first, Hailey ends up taking to Frank and even Beta warms up to him as they bond together. However, Hailey does not want to let her secret of Frank out and considers keeping him in her room forever. Instead, Frank sneaks out and is caught by Patricia and Kai. While Kai is bemused by Frank, Patricia refuses to accept him, despite him acting warmly towards her. Patricia takes Hailey to return Frank, but her current clients, Swagmesiter and JT, are ready to sell their house and make a quick stop. Swagmeister and JT turn out to be rude and entitled, much to Patricia's irritation. Frank ends up going inside the house after seeing shrimp and Hailey follows. When Frank begins eating the shrimp, the house owners tell Patricia that she is "old and weird", which is what she said of Frank. Realizing what Hailey has been trying to say this whole time, Patricia scolds the homeowners and quits being their clients, accepting Frank and thus completing Hailey's item on her list. Back at home, Patricia fears that she will not get anymore clients, but to her surprise, she begins getting several calls. The family embrace Frank who coughs up another feather ball.
