SPOILERS AHEAD

While skateboarding home, Scott is suddenly chased by a snowy owl. He hides in Hailey's bedroom where the owl flies in and drops off a small package meant for him. They open it to discover a USB drive from Ingebretsen Academy. Beta plays it to reveal a message from Klaus Gimlet, the headmaster, asking Scott to join their prestigious luge academy as he is a "legacy". Scott is baffled as he does not know what luge is or why he is even considered for it. Hailey decides to help train him to the best of her ability, seeing that it is simply lying on one's back and sliding down a hill. Scott cannot think of why this is even a sport or how it connects to him.

Sunny reveals that Scott's father, Eddie, was once a luger, news that baffles Scott and Hailey as he is currently an optometrist. Sunny reveals that when she met Eddie, he was an active luger and he supported her in becoming a restauranter. After an accident, Eddie became fascinated with medics and decided to become a doctor, something which actually angered Sunny as she felt that this made him boring. This caused her to eventually divorce him and has since worried that Scott would enter a similar fate. Hailey invites Eddie to come and visit where he actually supports Scott going to the academy. Despite Sunny not wanting Scott to go, Eddie insists that it will be okay.

The group head to the academy with Sunny tagging along as well, still concerned that he will get into an accident and become a doctor. Scott gets ready for the luge tryout, but slips and falls down the entire course, landing in the snow. Scott gets angry, believing the sport to be ridiculous and refuses to participate anymore. While Sunny is relieved, mainly at the fact that he shows no interest in becoming a doctor, Scott is surprised that Eddie has taken the news well, as he knows full well that he does not want to thrust something he does not want to do on him. In the end, the group head home with Scott suggesting a new sport, which Hailey deduces is simply water sliding.
