Minor Characters are on screen credited figures appearing in Hailey's On It! without a separate article of their own elsewhere. They are listed here in order of their appearances.
Season 1[]
Joanne Droid[]
Joanne Droid is a Canadian character who appeared in the episode "Smells Like Queen Spirit" as Hailey's opponent for the Crab Queen Pageant. She has fair skin, a tall, slender build, blue eyes, and light brown hair. She wears a red long-sleeved shirt, indigo pants, maroon lipstick, and winter gear on her head. She styles her hair in a long ponytail.
Upon learning that there was a Chaos bot in disguise planning to infiltrate their school, Hailey became suspicious of her due to her strange accent, name, and behavior. In the end, after learning that she was not the enemy, Joanne lost the crown to Hailey, but Hailey split it in half so that they both could wear it. Joanne is presumably an ally of Hailey. She is voiced by Erica Lindbeck.
Before the events of "In a Pinch", Joanne had returned to Canada. She could be seen punching a hole through a tree, causing it to release maple syrup on a stack of pancakes she held. Hailey's crown was taped back together when she wore it in that episode, but despite this, Joanne was seen back at Oceanside High School in "Bad Bear Day", meaning she perhaps only stepped down as co-Crab Queen.
Bored Murray[]
Murray Liu, also known by the Oceanside High School cheerleading team as "Bored Murray", is a student who attends said school. During the school's games, Murray is bored and unimpressed by the cheerleading, and shows this very obviously by his facial expressions and actions, including preparing his turkey dinner to eat and divert his attention. The Oceanside Crabs did their best to "turn Bored Murray into Thrilled Murray", and Hailey got his attention while performing the "Flying Swordfish" move as the team's flyer. Even after Hailey fell while doing this, when the audience gave a standing ovation, he joined in and said "That was…not boring!"
Murray has a stocky build, black hair, and black eyes. In "Flippin' Out", he wore a grayish-heather hoodie under a black jacket, Columbia blue shorts, and amaranth-colored shoes.
Murray later appeared in "Kissed Opportunities" as one of Hailey's party guests. During the game "Kissy Kards", Murray is dared to walk to Hailey's parents and repeat the fart-related lines they gave him, resulting in him getting a change in pants, which he later stated as embarrassing. Murray is voiced by Eric Bauza.
In "In a Pinch", Murray, rather uncharacteristically, can be seen cheering for Clawdia's dancing at an Oceanside High School tetherball game. In "The Fart of War", Murray served as the judge for Hailey's and Scott's case against A.C. and wore a powdered wig. He is also a member of the school's craft club.
In "I Wanna Dance With My Buddy", he was seen as the dance's DJ. He was later seen dancing with a girl in the episode.
P.H. Phlorange[]
P.H. Phlorange was the great-grandfather of Patricia Banks; and the great-great-grandfather of Hailey, Dwayne, and Johnson Banks. He was known by the citizens of Oceanside for his failure in building a lighthouse. He resembled Hailey Banks greatly, bearing similar teeth and facial structure.
Tina St. Claire[]
Tina was part of the cast in Oceanside High School's "Hats: The Musical" in "The Show Must Go Wrong". She has frizzy orange hair, fair skin, and eyes. She has two left feet, which caused her struggles in dancing while they practiced. She played the role of a beret. Tina is voiced by Julia Lester.
As of "Leather Jacket Hailey", Tina has been assigned a group project for school with Hailey as her partner, but lied to her that her grandmother was sick and that she had to visit her, resulting in Hailey initially doing most of the work. Eventually, when she saw Tina shopping with her grandmother who she still claimed was ill, Hailey ordered her to finish the rest of the project, which she did do, rather unprofessionally. In "The Fart of War", Tina was revealed to be a member of the craft club alongside Lucy and Murray.
Rusty Nickels[]
Rusty Nickels is an elderly man who appeared for the first time in "The Wild, Wild Mess". He works at the Cowpoke Corral, and likely runs it. He speaks with a country accent and wears a yellow shirt under a brown vest; brown and green pants, brown gloves, and a brown cowboy hat. He has fair skin, white eyebrows, beard, and overall hair. Due to the way he seems to silently move, he is believed by Scott to be a ghost. Rusty Nickels is voiced by Tom Simmons.
The Cubix Dudes[]
"White Knight", "Steel Teal" (voiced by Lauren Tom), "Pink Lynx" (voiced by Eric Bauza), "Green Machine" (voiced by Roger Craig Smith), "Violet Pilot" (voiced by Kari Wahlgren), and "Orange Guy" are the six "Cubix Dudes" who debuted in the episode of the same name. They performed stunts while solving puzzle cubes during a school assembly at Oceanside High School, and had another show the next day, which Scott performed at in place of Pink Lynx, who injured his hand and could not attend.
Zoot[]
Zoot is a man who first appears in "The Beginning of the Friend" with Sparky. Zoot and Sparky chased down Hailey and Scott in a zoo shuttle to retrieve Sid the Psychic Squid, who Hailey and Scott tried and succeeded in taking and releasing back into the water. Zoot is fair-skinned with yellow hair, an average built, green eyes, and wears a pink polo shirt and a backward pink-and-whire cap. Zoot is voiced by Kyle S. More.
DAS B3AT[]
Olga and Frederix are two siblings who compose a European band called "DAS B3AT". In "Splatter of the Bands", they were introduced as the biggest techno pop band in Europe and the winners of the Eurofest Music Competition. They are also known for their straight faces and lack of smiles.
Olga and Frederix were stated by the former to be from "Shuronia". They have light whitish-blonde hair; Olga's short hair has a bun on the left side, while Frederix has longer hair on the right side of his head. They both have pronounced cheekbones, very fair skin, and blue eyes. Frederix wears blue eyeshadow; Olga wears brown eyeshadow. They both wear plain white turtleneck uniforms. Olga is voiced by Eden Riegel; Frederix is voiced by Robbie Daymond.
Logan[]
Logan is a minor character from the episode "U.F. Whoa!". Kristine used him in a clear attempt to catch Scott's attention while, unbeknownst to him, he paid her none. When Kristine asked Scott in advance to help her in her audition for Hat House, Scott agreed, but was busy with Hailey at every time Kristine needed him, hence Kristine's hiring Logan. Logan helped her to practice, and Kristine made it into Hat House.
Logan has tan skin, grayish-blue eyes, and blonde hair. He wore gray jeans and a blue sleeveless shirt. He is an Australian character voiced by Eric Bauza.
Dr. Sanchez[]
Dr. Sanchez is a character who appears as the main antagonist of the episode "Kristine-ceañera". He is the wife of Mrs. Sanchez, father of Kristine Sanchez, and uncle of Kristine's runway-model cousins. In "Kristine-ceañera", he dictated all of the aspects of Kristine's quinceañera, but later learned that it was wrong and that Kristine should have the authority to choose how her birthday should be.
Thacher and Kiley[]
Thacher and Kiley are two adults who appear in the episode "The Puffle Kerfuffle". They were co-actors in the kids TV series The Puffles. According to their explanations to Hailey and Scott, they kissed after Kiley admitted her feelings to Thacher, but things quickly became awkward between them, therefore, they broke up. When Hailey and Scott tried to revive their show, a reunion was planned with both of them not being told of the other's attendance. They both attended and were not happy to see each other due to the awkwardness. However, in the end, they joined Hailey and Scott in a rendition of The Puffles' theme song, and following this, they briefly greeted each other. Thacher is voiced by Jess Harnell; Kiley is voiced by Kari Wahlgren.
