It is also the fourteenth episode of the season overall. It premiered on July 1, 2023 on Disney Channel. Plot Hailey is finishing up her chores when Beta gives her the next item to complete on the list: master walking in high heels. At that moment, Scott brings Kristine in who announces that she is having her quinceañera, themed after medieval times, and wants Hailey to be her dama (essentially maid of honor for the quinceañera). Hailey is reluctant until she realizes it is an opportunity to wear high heels and also because Kristine wants to set Hailey up with her cousin for the dance Mario, whom Hailey immediately takes a liking to. Hailey gets help for attending the party from Mario, as well as Kristine's triplet cousins Selena, Thalía, and Paulina. The quinceañera is hosted by Kristine's father Dr. Ricardo Sanchez who prides himself on hot sauce that he himself made as well as the black scorpion pepper that he keeps in his garden. Kristine is not happy as, even though the quinceañera is well put together, there are minor changes that are attuned to her father's expectations. This is made all the more apparent as Dr. Sanchez does not like Scott and instead wants to set up Kristine with a boy named Javier. Scott feels bad for not being accepted, but Hailey suggests that he try to connect with Dr. Sanchez on a personal level. To do this, he challenges Javier to a hot sauce off, as he compares Dr. Sanchez's hot sauce to his mother's "mild" kimchi. Dr. Sanchez allows for the hot sauce off as they fight for a chance to dance with Kristine. Despite an intense face off between the two, Scott ends up caving in, only for Kristine to angrily tell her father and Javier off, before devouring the black scorpion pepper, which apparently does not sit well with her insides. She demands that she dance with Scott and Dr. Sanchez finally concedes. Hailey dances with Mario in high heels, only to immediately strip them off when she accomplishes her item off the list. Dr. Sanchez apologizes for treating Kristine like a child as he now sees her as her growing daughter and they dance together. Continuity Hailey and Scott complete another list item: Number 232. Other Scott and Javier are given milk to wash down the hot sauce. This accurate as milk is considered a superior cooling alternative to water which simply spreads the spiciness rather than decreasing it.
