This page chronicles the history of Hailey Banks, a major character in Hailey's On It!. Early life Hailey ‘Alohilani Banks was born to Kai and Patricia Banks in an Oceanside, California hospital. Sometime down the line, her parents also gave birth to two twin baby boys, Dwayne and Johnson. Since Hailey was the first child of the couple, Kai was really eager to hold Hailey after she was born since he had been the "little one" he'd dreamt of for so long. Though Hailey was fragile and peaceful to Kai, he was still full of doubt at how good of a parent he'd be. He questioned how smart, strong and good enough he was to be her dad, but a Strawberry Moon Owl landed on the windowsill at the hospital. Kai felt this was a miracle sent to watch over them. He felt connected to their ancestors and thought their family's ‘aumakua. The ‘aumakua made Kai feel better because he realized Hailey was their shining gift from the heavens and they chose her middle name, ‘Alohilani, meaning the sparking heavens. Sometime at Taylor Dyer's sixth birthday party, A.C. Aychvak claimed that Hailey beat him at Duck Duck Goose, so from that day forward he assumed the position of being her bitter rival. Even though Hailey tried her best to ignore him, telling him "if both people didn't care about the rival, it couldn't be a rival," he never listened and has always just been in her shadow.
